Stores Person

Our client who design and construct large bespoke structures for the Subsea, Renewables, OffShore Oil & Gas and Telecomms industries are looking to hire an experienced Engineering Stores Person to join the team at their Blyth facility.

Reporting to the Stores Supervisor the Stores Person is responsible for the accurate receipt and issue of all stock relating to overheads and projects.

Duties will include

The receipt of goods
The labelling of goods
Picking part list items
Picking and packing of parts for dispatch
Maintaining accurate stock control
Raising of Purchase requisitions
Issuing and receiving of tools, equipment, PPE, Consumables and Lifting Equipment
Ensuring that tools, equipment, PPE, Consumables and Lifting Equipment are in calibration.

Successful candidates will

Be able to demonstrate Warehousing/Stores experience in an Engineering/Industrial environment

Be competent with Excel, MRP and IFS

Have excellent attention to detail

Have the ability to manage workload and prioritise

Have good communication skills

BE able to work with minimum supervision.
