Marketing Data Analyst

ASAP Start

£45,000 pro rata

4-6 Months Temporary

Marketing Data Analyst required for our client on a 4-6 Month contract. Our client the leading global paints company, home to world class products including the Dulux 'Super Brand', who operate in a number of important market segments ranging from buildings and infrastructure to transport, industrial and consumer goods.

As an Analyst you will develop and provide category, shopper and customer actionable insight that drives the development of category strategies, drivers and plans. You will develop best ways of mapping different data sets against each other. This will include weighting EPOS data against Panel data, and running basic correlation analysis to look for influencing factors. You will also monitor category performance (of both the client and competitors) to identify opportunities/issues to key stakeholders such as Brand Marketing, Customer Marketing and Sales colleagues.

Additionally you will be the 'super-user' of our continuous data sources, ensuring data accuracy and seeking opportunities for continuous improvement in the supply, management and analysis of the information.

The ideal candidate will come from a FMCG background, have strong analytical experience and have commercial awareness. You will be a natural problem solver with the ability to understand and interpret data effectively. You will also have strong excel skills and have a high attention to detail.
