Service Desk Advisor

In your role as a Help Desk Advisor, you will be responsible for speaking with customers who are experiencing a variety of IT issues such as password and connectivity problems. You will need to deliver excellent customer service and ensure resolution of IT issues using a web based system. This will involve following resolution scripts, as well as following processes to log incidents. The role is extremely rewarding and satisfaction can be taken from ensuring customer's IT problems are fixed first time.
Ideally you will have previous experience of working in a call centre environment and / or customer service. More importantly, you should have a good basic knowledge of IT systems as well as a great telephone manner, interpersonal and problem solving skills, and the ability to work to targets.

Our office is open Monday to Friday 7am - 7pm so you'll be working a variety of shift patterns between these times. There is no weekend or night working! For those who rely on public transport, the office is walking distance from Preston Railway Station.
