Are you looking for a new role within Product Development where you can really work with retailers and brand teams to make a difference in the products you represent? Manpower are working with one of the UK's fastest growing fine food importers, whose brands from around the world sit in the major multiple's, department stores and independent retailer
We are looking for a strong Product Development manager, to work across a mix of own label and branded products, liaising with both Brand Managers and manufacturing. This role will have real involvement with the brand owners, and the end retailers, ensuring commercial goals are met and the brands are represented in the best possible way.
We are not looking for someone who relies on consumer data, but someone who can really identify a gap in the market and respond to a retailer's requirements. This role blends an exciting mix of technical understanding and creativity, project managing the brand process.
Your role will focus on supporting and growing the company sales, profit and market share by delivering consumer focused NPD and EPD.
What you will bring with you?
*Been involved in private label and branded product development in the past. Ideally with 3rd party manufacturers
*Strong experience of project management
*Contacts with product managers in the trade would be preferable
*Good reporting skills, both internally and externally
*Established contacts with manufacturers would be preferable
