Job Details

Manpower is recruiting for essential roles as a Call Centre Agent, working with the emergency services to provide the best public service.

These initial contact roles on 111 calls involve fast paced responses to calls which are logged, recorded and processed accordingly so the right next steps can be taken. Applicants must be able to work mornings, days, evenings, nights and weekends on a shift pattern. Roles are available for part time and full time 111 Agents.

The key attributes are:

- Good judgement to prioritise the urgency and severity of calls

- Ability to provide information on First Aid and other necessary procedures

- Quickly gather information and ensure this is passed on to relevant services

- Flexibility to work shift pattern operating 24/7

Transferable skills from a previous position in customer facing or phone based role are essential. As is the ability to make decisions under pressure and the drive to maintain the consistently high level this service requires. This role is a temporary to permanent position, requiring 4 weeks theory based training followed by 2 weeks practical. After the successful completion of the first 12 weeks including this period as a Manpower employee you will become an employee of the NHS.

In return you'll get to be part of an essential service which provides a meaningful and often life-saving service to the community. You'll also receive a very high standard of training and a pathways licence which also makes this a great role for anyone interested in a career in the NHS.
