Job Details
This is on behalf of our client which is a public service provider in Bicester. You will be joining a fast-paced team in a public-focussed contact centre environment, answering and processing emergency healthcare calls direct from the public, supported by on-hand nurses to assess callers' healthcare needs and ensure they receive the right service or advice as quickly as possible. Work closely with healthcare professionals to assist with other required duties to provide the best possible standard of care to all patients. You will be required to map read, whilst taking down and following detailed instructions using an in-house database system.
On offer is 4 weeks of training and a further 8 week support programme. You must be available to attend training from 8.30am - 4.30pm or 5.00pm - 1.00am Monday - Friday for the initial 4 weeks. Once you've completed your training you will also receive a 25% pay increase for shifts worked from 7pm - 7am and weekends. You will be provided with a new rota every 4 weeks which will include days, nights and weekends between 8/10/ and 12 hour shifts.
The successful candidates are required to have an excellent telephone manner as you will be required to communicate with callers in an empathic and confidential way, plus good data-entry skills and attention to detail, to ensure that information is entered into the system accurately.
Requirements: Customer service experience (possibly gained in a retail or public sector environment) would be beneficial, but is not essential. Grade C (or above) in Maths and English at GCSE or equivalent qualification is required.
