Export Sales Executive

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Export Sales Executive to join a leading manufacturing business based in Corby.

The role will be office based with the need to travel abroad on a regular basis to meet with potential and existing customers as required.

You will be responsible for the full sales cycle; identifying and contacting potential customers, understanding their needs, promoting products and services and closing the sale.

As Export Sales Executive, your duties will include:

• Ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities are available
• Research overseas market to identify potential new clients/industries to supply
• Make contact with prospective clients to introduce, fact find and arrange visits
• Look after existing Customer base
• Travelling to visit various clients across Europe

• Identify opportunities for campaigns, services, and distribution channels that will lead to an increase in sales
• Using knowledge of the market and competitors, identify and develop the company's unique selling propositions and differentiators

• Track and record sales activity

Experience/Skills required

• B2B Sales experience is essential
• Bi-lingual is beneficial but not essential
• Good knowledge of engineering/manufacturing is beneficial
• Tenacious, driven and self-motivated
• Full Driving Licence Is essential
• Successful candidates must have a valid passport due to international travel
• Computer literate
• Excellent numeracy skills
• Well organised
• A go getter who wants to carve out a career in sales!

• Basic salary £25,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience) plus commission
