HR Business Partner
I am looking for a HR Business Partner to join our regional team of 4, based in Newbury, Berkshire. The team is responsible for developing and implementing the people strategy across the Northern European region. This role will support the NER Business Partner in planning, development and implementation of all HR activities required to deliver and maintain an effective and high-quality HR service within the region. This role will be for someone with strong Business partnering experience, stakeholder management skills and the ability to deliver pragmatic, business focused-solutions. The HR Generalist will undertake the following duties and responsibilities as a part of their role:
- Develop and maintain strong working relationships with senior management in the designated business areas, promoting good HR practices.
- Coaching and developing managers on Employee Relations, Performance Management, Talent Management and Change management.
- Maintain consistent knowledge of local HR law to ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements, ensuring that any procedure decisions are in compliance with country specific regulations.
- Support the monthly payroll run, management of the HR system and reporting on key HR metrics when required
- Involvement in recruitment activity where applicable
- Partnering with the business by translating business needs into HR people-based solutions that support the business in achieving its goals
- Proactively work with colleagues in the HR community across Europe and Globally to develop and drive HR initiatives, working on specific projects as required.
- Other ad-hoc duties maybe added as business needs change.
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience:
- Experience in an HR Generalist/ Partner position of which 1-2 years' experience needs to be in a business partnering capacity
- Exceptional interpersonal and influencing skills - credible at senior level and able to challenge the status quo
- Associate CIPD level 5 or 7 or equivalent professional qualification in HR preferred
- Up to date knowledge of employment law
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills at all levels throughout the organisation and externally.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- Strong facilitation and presentation experience required
- Experience of working in an organisation with a strong culture and work ethic, and ability to promote and maintain such an environment
