VEHICLE MECHANIC
LYNEHAMLYNEHAM
£26,000 - £29,500 PER ANNUMANNUM

We wish to appoint two Vehicle Mechanics to work within the EMTCEMTC based in MoDMoD LynehamLyneham. The role will report to the Team Leader, LynehamLyneham.

Responsibilities:
*Able*Able to carry out in depth engineering work and diagnostics on large vehicles.
*Able*Able to adapt to a wide variety of unsualunsual vehicle platforms using modern repair techniques.
*Able*Able to read and use repair manuals as required.
*Must*Must be able to operate as an individual within a close team.
*Flexibility*Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities as neccessaryneccessary.
*The*The requisitioning of vehicle spares and the use of MOD equipment management systems including JAMES.
*Prepared*Prepared for some outdoor work.
*Any*Any other reasonable requests within your skill set/capability as instructed by line manager.
*Any*Any special to role training required would be provided.
*An*An individual tool kit, Personal Protective Equipment, Corporate Clothing and specialist stores support is provided

Qualifications & Requirements:
*A*A recognised qualification in Automotive Engineering with a minimum C&G level 3 or BTECBTEC/IMIIMI/NVQNVQ equivalent or has served in HM Armed Forces as a Vehicle Mechanic Class One. -
Essential

*Hold*Hold a current category 'C''C' or C+E license. - Essential
*Hold*Hold relevant MoDMoD spec equipment training course qualifications. - Desirable
*A*A good knowledge of/able to use JAMES - Desirable
*Hold*Hold a current category 'H''H' License - Desirable
*Computer*Computer literate (MS Word and Excel minimum standard) - Desirable
