About the role:

As a Customer Service Advisor, you'll be joining the Metering Team which is currently expanding and taking calls from our existing customers who have questions around their Meters. As a Customer Service Advisor you will be responsible for speaking with new and existing customers, delivering excellent customer service helping them with general enquires. You will also assist with booking engineers for meter breakdowns and changes.

The role is extremely rewarding and satisfaction can be taken from offering new or existing customers a potential saving on their energy bills' . You will listen to their issue or complaint with warmth and empathy, and will do everything you can to resolve the problem as quickly as possible - not forgetting to deliver a great customer service at all times.

  • Initially the pay will be £15,392 pa (£8.00 per hour) and after 12 weeks, your pay will automatically increase to £17,595 pa pro-rata (£9.15 per hour), with the chance for it to later rise to £20,432 pa pro-rata (£10.62 per hour).
  • You'll qualify for an annual bonus scheme.
  • You'll start with 28 days annual leave year, but after 12 weeks this will increase to 34 days (including bank holidays)

About you:

We're ideally looking for individuals who have worked in a customer service/contact centre role before. You'll have excellent communication skills, and will handle every call with empathy and warmth.

You'll need to be flexible with working hours too, as our contact centre is open from 8am until 8pm Monday to Friday, and 8am to 6pm on Saturdays.
