Manufacturing Engineer - Electromechanical Process Focus

Do you have strong experience in engineering design and product reliability concepts?

Do you have detailed knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques - i.e. value stream mapping, one piece flow, etc?

Are you experience with Six Sigma, 8D, root cause analysis, Process Failure Mode Effect Analysis, Gauge R & R or control charts?

Are you confident in your understanding of ProLaunch / APQP New Product Introduction processes?

The role is part of a multi-disciplined team and will report into a Process Focus Team Manager with indirect reporting into the Manufacturing Engineering functional manager.

While supporting the manufacture of valve products from a technical and process improvement perspective, driving Product Focus Team performance metric achievement (safety, delivery performance, quality, cost etc.), you will develop and implement future strategies for manufacture, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and to manage capital projects from conception through to successful implementation on time and to cost budget.

As a key member within the Product Focus Team (PFT) organisation, you will be accountable for identifying the leading metrics which will ensure the achievement of top level performance metrics of the PFT.
