JOB TITLE: Telemarketing Executive
SALARY: £15,000 plus Commission
WORKING HOURS: Monday - Friday 9:00 - 17:30 with 20 days holiday
REPORTS TO: Business Development Team Leader
LOCATION: Barking
Job Purpose:
To develop & appoint opportunities with prospects & customers for the sales team to quote for our existing &/or new services as we launch them.
Responsibilities:
- To pro-actively contact all allocated brought in sales leads
- Respond professionally to all incoming enquiries be they through Live Chat / Web or Phone.
- Input all activities including calls/appointments & tasks into our system
- Through questioning, clarify the customers buying criteria & requirements
- Where appropriate, price bounce to gauge customer reaction & estimated budget.
- Introduce affiliate services where appropriate.
- Where requested to do so, follow up all enquiries to conclusion and maintain records.
- Input and assist in any data entry tasks as needed
- Assist in general administrative duties as and when required
Targets:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly & annual appointment targets.
- Consistently capture all the necessary information required for the appointment to ensure both the salesperson & the customer's expectations are aligned.
- Input & manage all information & activity through our system
- Achieve agreed numbers of weekly / monthly sales activities
Skills, knowledge and experience:
- Ideally - previous telemarketing or sales experience.
- Good negotiating and influencing skills.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
- PC literate
- Ability to build alliances and maintain relationships.
- Ability to understand both customer and competitive environment.
- Good networking skills.
- Commercial awareness / attention to detail
- Consultative Skills - understanding customer requirements and competitive environment
- Selling skills and concepts - Influencing, listening, questioning, negotiating and gaining commitment.
