Salary: £18 - £20K

My client is a small family run Heating Contractor who is offering a fantastic opportunity to join them as an Assistant Manager in their premises in Newcastle upon Tyne to help them drive the business forward in a period of expansion.

The purpose of the role is to provide our customers with excellent customer service, selling a variety of heating products and processing orders both over the telephone, online and face to face. You will also be providing quotations as well as offering technical advice where necessary, so the ability to build up a strong rapport with your customers will be essential to ensure we provide first-class customer service.

Previous experience essential as is knowledge of working in the heating industry as you will be expected to be able to deal with trade customers, heating engineers and installers.

Primarily you will support and serve customers on the trade counter, you will help pick and prepare orders and load vehicles when required.

A driving licence would be beneficial as there will also be opportunities to make deliveries in the company vehicle

Essential Skills and Experiences:

• Knowledge of the plumbing and heating industry
• Trade counter/Sales experience
• Ability to work independently /Self Manage
• Good IT skills
• Great customer service and communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Must be a team player, proactive and positive in approach
