Great opportunity for an experienced Procurement Executive to join out global client in Uxbridge!! Do you have previous experience in Procurement? Are you looking for a new challenge and the next step in your career?

The purpose of the role is to support the Procurement Manager and procurement function across the business and act as point of contact for suppliers and the wider business and staffing network.

The principles of the procurement strategy are based on ensuring that the services required by the business are provided by suppliers who demonstrate their ability to deliver compliant product and service on time and in a cost effective manner whilst remaining best in class in their own field.

Principle Accountabilities, Act as a primary contact for reactive indirect Procurement activity. Will undertake, and take ownership of, general procurement lifecycle activities.

Raise ad-hoc Purchase Orders and manage Preferred Supplier Lists where applicable. Primary contact for Corporate Travel queries (including traveller profile updates, ad-hoc bookings, MI analysis, policy adherence) Communicate confidently with stakeholders internal and external to the business

Support the Procurement Manager in strategic procurement activity. Support the Procurement Manager in analysis of supplier spend in order to forecast, consolidate supply base and identify efficiencies. Review and recommend amendments to supplier contracts in line with company requirements.

Management of the internal contracts database / supplier management system. Ongoing contract management and supplier relationship management.

Procurement Executive Skills and Qualifications: Strong written and verbal communicator. Strong organisational skills and able to meet deadlines.

Personable attitude and keen to become an integral team member. Resourceful and self-motivated with a proactive approach to tasks. Keen to learn and develop existing skills.

Previous experience of working in a Procurement team across various categories ( a must ) Sound understanding of the Procurement life-cycle. Basic negotiation skills.
