FORKLIFT DRIVER

Our client is a leading Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) company in the UK and Ireland. They are already on target to achieve their huge ambition to double the size of their business globally whilst reducing their environmental impact. We are currently seeking 2 experienced Forklift drivers to support their sourcing Unit based in Purfleet. The sourcing unit can operate 24/7 and cover 12 hours shifts. The work pace is fast and can be demanding.
The ideal candidate will be an experienced FLT driver and possess manufacturing experience. Working in a rotating shift pattern you will be expected to work days/night

Duties will include the following:

*Loading material onto production lines using a forklift truck

*Straightening containers

*Transporting goods around the warehouse


Working effectively in a team with an eye for detail is essential to this role.

*Must have valid FLT licence

*Relevant experience gained in a production environment

*Good communication skills

*Knowledge of SAP systems would be beneficial but not essential

*Must be able to work 12 hour shifts, including nights and weekends
