We are looking for a committed individual with a willingness to learn and progress within food manufacturing environment.

Key responsibilities and duties:

  • Working alongside Line Manager.
  • Planning daily production, processing the orders on the internal software.
  • Taking full responsibility for operating the processing equipment for pasteurizing, homogenizing, skimming and cooling milk.
  • Setting up and operating milk bottling and labelling equipment according to the company guidance.
  • Operating the butter churn, weighing, cooling and wrapping butter to finish product.
  • Making sure that all produce is labelled and packed correctly as per 'Date Coding Sheet' and accordingly to the company guidance.
  • Ensuring all orders are completed in full and ready for the driver leaving the following morning.
  • Maintaining records of operational documents related to production, daily checks, delivery/dispatch records, routine cleaning schedule.
  • Following the washing procedures and maintaining high standard of hygiene and cleanliness of the premises and equipment at all times.
  • Taking part in maintaining technical procedures up to date, taking part in external audits related to food safety, trading standards and hygiene.
  • Taking part in new product development projects.

Desired work experience/skills:

  • High standard of hygiene and basic knowledge of food safety standards.
  • An ability to work independently and make their own decisions.
  • Good planning and time management skills.
  • Desire to learn new skills.
  • Good eye for details.
  • Good IT and administrative skills.
