Lab Technician

Manpower Wales are looking to recruit Lab Technicians for a well known medical supply company in Cardiff. This would be a great opportunity for someone with experience as a Lab Technician, or has a degree (or equivalent) in science. Our exclusive client is based on the outskirts of Cardiff that offer free secure parking, and within walking distance of local amenities and Radyr train station.

The role is long term temporary working 37 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Duties include:

• Manufacturing using automated and manual assembly.
• Possess a solid understanding of chemical processes and mechanics, mixing chemical ingredients,
• Formulation of some reagents required for dispensing.
• Manufacture of bulk reagents.
• Working with manual and electronic OEE systems.
• Preforming initial trouble shooting on any issues that arise.
• Leading small teams in the manual assembly of finished kits.
• Driving LEAN continuous improvements in the area.
• Comply with local EHS regulations and policies.
