Working on a range of vehicles from 3.5 t vans up to Class 1 Trucks

The role:

Your role as Technician would see you joining an established and renowned garage and dealership working across the spectrum of vehicles from 3.5 tonne upwards - your main focus would be on Class 1 vehicles. You would carry out the identification and diagnostics of any mechanical, electrical or other faults and rectifying them to ensure the vehicle is safe, legal and meets the required quality standard. You will be working on a vast range of vehicles brands; however the main focus of your work will be on Iveco vehicles.

Our client is at the technological forefront of their industry and can offer further technological training to advance your skill set, as well as specific brand training to ensure compatibility on all vehicles.

Option for on call working is available.

Hours of work: 39 hours per week (early/mid/late shifts - negotiable to suit you). You must work every other Saturday.

Salary: £20,200 - £26,400 experience depending. Over time rate: time and a half AFTER 39 hours. Double time from midnight to 08.00am (unless working a night shift).

You must:

• Have a good level of experience repairing/maintaining/rectifying faults on vehicles - from 3.5 tonne vans up to HGVs.
• Have the ability to carry out safety inspections and MOTs.
• Have your own tool kit (although specialised tools are supplied for specific brands).
• Driving license: C/CE preferred.
• Be adaptable/able use your own initiative.
