Plant Maintenance Engineer required in a 5 star hotel resort in Watford.

The Plant Engineer undertakes planned preventative and reactive maintenance to all the hotels key plant and equipment, carrying out repairs and responding to plant breakdowns. It is the responsibility of this person to ensure that the hotel's pool plant and equipment is maintained at optimal levels and ensure that everything is controlled effectively and efficiently. The Plant Engineer is also responsible for ensuring that sufficient stock levels are purchased and stored in a safe and secure manner.

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

To carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and routine maintenance as per the requirements of the business.

To react to all requests via the maintenance dockets process correctly and ensure faults are followed up to maintain the physical product To ensure all tools, maintenance equipment, hardware and chemicals is stored in compliance with Company procedures and in line with H&SAW and COSHH

To train and monitor allocated staff to maintain standards and consistency of delivery as directed within the law

To liaise with all relevant contacts both internal and external and using information available ensure the continuous running of the hotel plan systems to the required standard, ensuring guest satisfaction

To take appropriate action and co-operate with your team colleagues to maintain a safe and equitable working environment whilst being sensitive to, and aware of, business/staffing levels in order to maintain a disciplined but harmonious department

To ensure any Guest request, outside your area of expertise, is raised immediately to the appropriate level

To work within all company policies with specific reference to the Health and Safety at Work Act and the COSHH.
