An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation, our Global FMCG Client Unilever, are currently seeking a Bioscientist based at their Research & Development facility in Port Sunlight, Wirral. This is a full time temporary role for a period of 6 months, working a 37.5 hour week. This role is paying £28,545 per annum.

The role is ideally suited to an individual who is self-motivated and has a passion for applied science that provides a winning edge for our products. We work in multi-disciplinary project teams where everybody contributes to achieving the same goal, so we're looking for excellent people skills (especially team working), and communication skills. You should be able to demonstrate that you can work on your own initiative, and that you continually develop your scientific skills.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To work at the bench and use your experience in the biological sciences to deliver substrate-based insights for the development of new technologies
• To provide intellectual input and generate hypotheses/ make recommendations to the Team Leader to progress the programme Cell/Molecular Biology or relevant Biological Science
• Apply science expertise to the development and characterisation of new substrate insights and the development of new Personal Care technologies
• Provide technical expertise
• Design and execute experimental plans
• Report and present key insights, developments and observations
• Provide intellectual input to the programme and make recommendations

ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
* Minimum BSc in Cell/Molecular Biology or relevant Biological Science.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Able to work both in a team and independently.
* Evidence of ability to develop networks to enable delivery
