Spray Painter

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and painting vehicles to a high standard.

You will preferably have experience of Spray Painting in a car bodyshop or manufacturing environment.

The Role:

* Ensure that the high quality of body paint preparation and application is consistent throughout process
* Carry out preparation, priming and painting to a high standard
* Demonstrate effective use of PPE as well as a broad understanding of body repair techniques
* Use working knowledge and initiative to ensure the most appropriate paint types are used
* Maintain own work space to recognised housekeeping standards
* Understand the needs of our customers, keeping them in mind when carrying out tasks
* Work as part of a team to ensure the smooth running of the department

What we are looking for:

* ATA accreditation is desired but not essential
* Previous experience as a Vehicle Paint Sprayer/Body Shop Technician
* Working knowledge of Health and Safety in the workshop
* Works efficiently within manufacturers' time allowances
* Can demonstrate high quality paint preparation and the application of approved paint products
* A working knowledge of automotive systems and the materials required for the repair process.
* A full and valid UK driving licence
