Warehouse Operatives Required

Warehouse Operatives required for a manufacturing company based near Witney. Due to the location you will need to drive and have access to a vehicle. The job is to provide exceptional customer service with accurate and prompt picking, packing and dispatch of goods from the warehouse.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Pick customer orders as per company processes, ensuring all necessary controls are complied with as appropriate, and making available for dispatch.

• Dispatch, ensure that all customer orders are packed correctly and labelled accordingly to company procedure.

• Undertake forklift truck duties as required, ensuring daily safety checks are conducted thoroughly and company guidelines observed.

• Responsible for the loading / unloading of vehicles and containers were necessary.

• Ensure that all stock is stored, handled and transported correctly and securely in line with company procedures

• Ensure that the workplace environment is maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and tidiness, and complies with company procedures.

• Take reasonable care of both your own health and safety and that of others who may be affected by your acts

• Ensure all packing waste is disposed of safely and in line with company processes, recycling where possible.

• Ensure that all pallets are wrapped and secure prior to dispatch.

• Conduct stock consolidation, ensuring that all paperwork is submitted to the office as soon as possible.

• Assist in the receipt of incoming stock in line with company processes, ensuring that paperwork with locations is submitted to the office as soon as possible.

• Ensure that all inventory counts are completed and that the results are handed in as soon as possible.

• Support and assist newly appointed or less experienced colleagues by providing guidance as appropriate.

• Any other reasonable requests from your line manager.

SKILLS:

• Be able to communicate clearly, both written and in speech.
• Good standard of numeracy.
• Good understanding of and commitment to safe working practices.
• Qualified and competent to operate the various forklift trucks and other machinery within the warehouse.

This is a full time and permanent position with working hours of 8-5 Monday to Friday. The salary is £17,750 and there is a potential annual sales bonus of £3,000. If you would like more information then please contact Lianne or apply online.
