Job Title: Interim Financial Controller

Salary: £29 per hour

Position: Temporary Fulltime

Hours: Monday- Friday (37 hours)

Location High Wycombe

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an ambitious and diligent, Interim Financial Controller to join a company based in High Wycombe. You will excel in a fast paced environment, to join their busy team in the Finance department. Reporting to the Finance Director you will be responsible for the management of financial transaction operations, procurement, statutory reporting and the finance system. You will produce annual accounts and be responsible for overseeing transactional activities of the financial operations team. If you have strong, leadership skills and the ability to develop team performance then this is the role for you!

The role will require you to have working industry knowledge of the following:

• First degree or equivalent
• CCAB Professional Qualification
• CPD and maintain professional membership

Skills

• Financial reporting and analysis preparation of audited financial statements
• Accounting systems development & Maintenance including payroll
• Direct tax and indirect tax compliance and planning
• Treasury and investment experience
• Working knowledge of the education sector
• Knowledge of Procurement regulations
• Strong analytical skills
• Balance sheet management
• Awareness of current financial management best practice
