ACCOUNT MANAGER
£25,000 - £30,000 (including OTE around £55,000pa)
My client is looking for an experience individual in B2B sales with a strong track record in business development and nurturing of long-term client relationships. The Account Manager will report into the General Manager to execute strategy.
You will be in the Edgbaston office Monday and Friday and out on face to face visits the rest of the week.
Your main responsibilities will be;
- Meeting and exceeding targets by opening up accounts with new clients and maintain existing relationships
- Focus on business development from new and existing clients in order to achieve both individual and team sales targets as well as generating both new business and client sales through proactive prospecting and client management
- Develop a pipeline of opportunities for sales, including a mix of blue chip prospects and services, in line with the marketing strategy
- Work alongside the Marketing and Client Delivery department to develop sales strategies
- Use the CRM system to update all sales activity in a timely manner and report producing where required
- Generate your own appointments whilst also being supported by the Internal Sales Team. You will support and motivate them
- Travelling covers mainly the Midlands and South East
Experience required;
- Minimum of 2 years' phone experience and 2 years field sales selling B2B services
- Strong track record in business development and nurturing of long-term client relationships and being able to demonstrate year on year improved performance as skills develop
- Demonstrate experience with blue chip client base and senior level contacts
- Hold a full valid UK driving licence
