Class 2 HGV Drivers - Brighton

Are you a Class 2 / LGV C Category Driver?

At Manpower we are recruiting for Class 2 Drivers to work on behalf of our client in Hollingbury, Brighton. The role involves working for a Cash and Carry, completing deliveries of produce across the South East in a temperature controlled Class 2 HGV. The goods are either palletised or caged, and you will be delivering to local convenience stores and independent suppliers.

The positions available are for day shifts, generally starting around 7:30am with most drivers finishing by 4pm at the latest. This does involve manual work, as you are responsible for loading and unloading your vehicle. There is parking available on-site.

Although classed as temporary, the role may lead to a permanent position for the right candidate. We have had a number of candidates gain permanent roles through the opportunities we were able to provide them with, and we will work with you throughout your assignments to ensure you have the support required to further your career.

As this role will involve completing deliveries driving a Class 2 vehicle, holding a Category C UK driving licence, a CPC card and Tacho card is essential for this position. Due to the nature of the business and the industry, good customer service and a friendly demeanour is important for this position. Previous experience in a similar role will be beneficial, though is not essential.
