Role: Mobile Vehicle Technician / Mechanic

Location: Manchester

Workshop and remote working

Salary: £24,870 plus bonus, pension, benefits

Hours: 37.5 per week

Days: Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm

The Role

You will be the face of the business, arriving at client sites and carrying out work on customer vehicles. You will be fitting equipment such as bulbs and wiper blades, through to some more complex work including diagnostics and mechanical repairs. You'll manage your own workload and will have a company van and your own tools, as well as a tablet to log your work and stay in touch. It's essential that you enjoy speaking to customers and have technical knowledge, as you'll be explaining faults directly to clients and representing the company on their client sites.

You'll use your experience and mechanical knowledge to decide which repairs and vehicles need to go into the workshop and you'll save the client money by doing what you can on-site. This role offers the independence you don't get in the workshop but without the inconvenience of 24/7 call outs and working at the side of the road in the rain, wind and snow!
