An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation. Our client, a blue chip IT company, is currently seeking an IT Equipment Officer based on-site at a global banking provider near St. Paul's, London. This is a full time 3 month assignment (with potential to extend), working Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:00pm & 10:00am - 6:00pm rotational, to start asap. The role is paying £11.15 - £15.80per hour (Ltd/Umbrella) or £11.15 - £12.50 per hour (PAYE) depending on experience.
- Managing assets through a stock management system, both through booking in and assigning out
* Carrying out monthly stock audits to ensure compliance with the customers asset management protocols
* The build and configuration of PC's from a pre-defined build image
* Applying operating system images across multiple devices at the same time
* Performing detailed post build checks ensuring PC's pass security compliance
* Assessment of builds to enable a priority work plan to be created. This will focus the effort of work into the correct sequence to fulfil known demand
* Full understanding of current build and checks process to ensure correct procedure is being followed enabling fully compliant machines to be deployed
* Booking in of stock, as and when required
* Monitoring stock levels and reporting shortfalls
* Keeping an efficient, clean and safe working environment at all times
ADDITIONAL TASKS:
* Constantly seeking to be more efficient in order to improve our services where possible
* Assist with adhoc projects as agreed with the management team
* Show an outward commitment to actively develop personal knowledge
* Comply with all standard working practices, policies and procedures
* Technically assess all IT changes that can affect the working environment. (Change management).
ESSENTIALS SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:
This role will require a credit check and CRB check to be successful
- Ability to manage tasks from a pre-defined script
* Experience of working in a Corporate Banking environment
* good understanding of Windows operating systems
