Production Operative - Long Term Opportunity

Manpower is one of the UK's leading recruitment companies, experts in the world of work. We are working in partnership with a major global brand to recruit staff in the Elland area.

We are looking for a production operative to work on behalf of our client in full time long term temporary role. Working within different teams within the site you will be involved in the initial stages of manufacture of their products operating machinery to ensure continuous flow of production.

The site operates shifts and this role will work rotational days, nights and afternoon shifts and is a guaranteed 38 hour week. You must be able to commit to all 3 shifts.

Due to the location of the site having your own transport is an advantage. Public transport does not operate to the area for early starts and late finishes.

You will have a proven background in a machine operating role typically gained from a manufacturing environment, be an excellent team player with the ability to work under your own initiative to tight deadlines and quality standards. You will also have a good standard of education with GCSEs (Grades A-C)/NVQ standard or equivalent or vocational qualifications

Pay rates for the roles start at £10.25 per hour, increasing after 12 weeks.
