Transport Operations Administrator
The main responsibilities of the role will be as follows: * Management and maintenance of the in-house system* Driver debrief, including accurate completion of driver cards to ensure precise monitoring of drivers hours within the working time directive. * General fleet / warehouse administration, including monitoring of ODO readings, digital tacho-graph compliance, management of vehicle and trailer defects and vehicle checks * Warehouse & Load pack creation and maintenance * Completion of daily delivery report * Monitor delivery confirmation and report any delivery issues to the Customer Service Team through daily reports. * Completion of loading schedule for Yard operation and working with Warehouse team to ensure timely despatch of vehicles * Processing of returned PODs and any returned stock to be returned to the RDC warehouses * Produce weekly statistics and KPI reports as required. * Management of the fuel cards. * Monitoring of empties and ullage uplifts and the returns to the RDC warehouse.. * Raising Purchase Orders for agency labour, hauliers and site consumables and monitoring costs through the ACON database. * Ensure a safe operating environment within the Washington site by ensuring compliance with Health and Safety legislation, Company policy and Safe Systems of Work. * Support the off site management team to ensure strict compliance with transport legislation and audit compliance. * Resolving claims issues. * CHEP pallet control.
