Great job opportunities for Productions Operatives to join a rapidly expanding manufacturing company based in Milton Park, Oxfordshire. My client manufactures gas detection instruments for oxygen, flammable and toxic gas hazards.

The successful candidates will be responsible for the production of gas detection units, accessories and spares to support customer demands; working to defined processes and procedures the department provides the physical resource necessary to add value to the manufactured items. All quality procedures and policies are followed to ensure the company delivers the highest quality products to its customers; on time and without the need for return.

Your main duties will include:
*Day to day responsibility and accountability for the effective performance of the production cell and achievement of operational manufacturing targets.
*Maintain production cell area to the 6S standard.
*Ensure tooling and equipment is working and calibrated.
*Stock accuracy activities in production.
*Manage product capacity cell sheet on daily basis.
*Attend weekly team meeting to highlight stock shortages, Build, H&S and Quality issues.
*Maintain a standard of quality and continuous improvement throughout the department.
*Capable to build multiple products.
*Adhere and promote all company policies, procedures and business ethic codes.
*Awareness of stock procedures and participation in stock take.

In return, you will be offered an excellent benefits package, on top of a competitive starting salary of £17,000. Hours of employment are 8.00am 4.30pm Monday - Thursday and 8.00am - 1.30pm on Fridays
