Legal Cashier
Legal Cashier, Hull
We are looking for an experienced Legal Cashier to join our established and busy Cashiers department.
Training will be provided on our systems, however a good cashiering knowledge and skill set as a base is a prerequisite.
Responsibilities and Duties
- To operate the firm's computerised accounts system, including posting of client and office account transactions and undertaking monthly reconciliations.
- To review and agree conveyancing completion statements and to process relevant payments by TT, BACS or cheque as required.
- To undertake such training as may be necessary and agreed.
- To comply with the requirements of the Office Manual and the LEXCEL requirements.
- Ensure the confidentiality of all the firm's and client's documentation and information.
Qualifications and Skills
- Excellent IT skills and ability to use Word, Excel and to develop skills in our Accounts and Case Management Systems.
- Aptitude and enthusiasm for figures.
- Integrity and ability to work with care and precision.
- Knowledge of the requirements under Solicitors Accounts Rules
- Ability to work as part of a team.
