Role Overview :

The UK, Ireland, South Africa Field Marketing DIrector is responsible for all marketing initiatives to support Mitel's local sales operation and channel partners to increase their funnel and support local initiatives. This incorporates the positioning of the Mitel brand, driving pipeline through campaigns for direct touch, major platforms and events, and leading the field channel marketing activities.

This is a multi-faceted role, where operational work is combined with planning and creativity, within the dynamics of an international team and supporting different partners, markets and verticals. The Field Marketing Manager will work closely with the High Touch Team, and Channel Marketing and Field Communications Managers to support them with specific demand generation activities, including the execution and guidance of these activities, whilst providing daily communication to Mitel resellers.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Act as a key member of the International Marketing leadership team and the regional business executive team and develop and execute the field marketing strategy and plan to support the overall business and sales goals
  • Lead the creation and development of the UK/I/SA "Story" and creatively work to deliver to key audiences
  • Support the transition from a UC on premise business to a UCaaS/cloud based service supporting a Monthly Recurring Revenue model
  • Be prepared to understand the requirements (numbers, content, audiences, channels, and delivery) to build direct and indirect (partner) demand campaigns to achieve pipeline and revenue
  • Create and manage a dynamic distribution and partner marketing ecosystem to support the goals of the field sales team, incorporating continuous communications and interactions with this audience
  • Incorporate all aspects of channel marketing to support the overall Go To Market approach for the region
  • Lead a team of field and partner marketing executives to support your overall plan
  • Drive the cadence to ensure accurate reporting and return on key marketing initiatives
  • Develop and deliver key platforms (events/other) to support the execution of the Mitel story and marketing touchpoints.

Key Requirements:

  • Strong track record of delivering end-to-end marketing activities in an international, B2B dynamic environment
  • Understanding of UCaaS, applications, cloud, and marketing to drive a MRR model
  • Be open to change and Degree level education in marketing (or equivalent)
  • High standard of communication ability and relationship building
  • Experience in project management, including remote projects Working knowledge of Buyers' Journey, Buyer Personas, e-Media, Social Media and SEO
  • Good understanding of IT/ Telecoms technology sector
  • Knowledge of SFDC and database management
  • Knowledge of inbound marketing, content marketing principles
  • Good knowledge of MS Office programs, especially Excel
  • Fluent, both in speaking and writing in English
