We have some exciting opportunities for long term roles for the right candidates to work in a Manufacturing company / plant based in Birmingham who manufacture industrial coatings worldwide. This is a great opportunity to develop a career with in Manufacturing. The successful candidates will have great attention to detail along with the attitude to learn and develop within the role, where there will be on-going training and development in plant procedures and operations.

In this role you will be operating process vessels, pumps and other process plant equipment. You will follow batch sheets and identify correct raw materials and batch numbers for batch mixing, ensuring batch sheets are completed accurately. You will also weigh and measure out raw materials required and operate manufacturing equipment to ensure the production of batches are carried out on time and in a safely manner. Additionally you will package hazardous finished products in accordance with the packing instructions. You will be responsible for carrying out all work activities with due care by following Health & Safety and company safety procedures, ensuring that at all times both your own work and that of colleagues is carried out in a safe, controlled and efficient manner. You will be required to operate a fork lift truck which they will train you up to use.

The ideal candidate will be A Level qualified, hold good numeracy and literacy skills. You will have the ability to learn/use IT tools including Office and SAP. You will also be a highly motivated self-starter with the ability to effectively communicate with team, peers and management. Additionally you will have Team work awareness and be able to demonstrate ability to work on a collaborative environment. The Position requires rotational shift working so flexible working hours is a

requirement (mornings, afternoons and nights).
