My Client is a renowned manufacturer of automotive components, created to fully automotive TS16949 & ISO 14001 standards. In this ever growing sector, I am thrilled to be supporting a major growth campaign across several areas of the business.
I am looking to speak with Candidates who have either a degree in business or of an analytic nature, or who hold significant experience in a similar field of planning, and believe they are ready for their next progressional role as a Junior Production Planner.
Your new role:
You will take responsibility of the daily MRP production plan in order to produce the manufactured parts including raw material schedule requirements, with an excellent training plan to support you.
- You will liaise with customers, suppliers, to ensure all workers, materials, and machinery will be available when required
- You will engage in regular & relevant dialogue with sales division to determine customer requirements
- It will be your responsibility to create a production schedule detailing all tasks and when they should be completed by to meet a targeted completion date
- Monitoring project's progress to ensure its following the desired schedule
- Troubleshooting of problems that occur during production, including staff shortages and machinery malfunctions
- Assessing production and raw material costs
- Collection and assessment of data detailing production and team's performance
- Preparation of production processes reports for upper management and suggests ways to improve efficiency
