Resource Consultant

Manpower UK is looking for a Resource Consultant to join our growing team based on Grey Street, in the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne. Manpower is a global recruitment agency, and our client portfolio includes the petrochemical, transport, heavy engineering, utilities and renewable energy sectors to name a few. Our clients vary in size from large international companies, to medium and small national and locally based businesses.

The Resource Consultant will work alongside a team of highly experienced consultants who focus on a range of temporary and permanent technical vacancies. The Opportunity:

Daily duties will involve helping to manage and maintain databases and spreadsheets, CV searches, and pre-screening applicants for vacancies, using IT systems including CMS and Excel to update candidate information You will also be required to build up a strong knowledge of our business so that you can confidently engage with candidates; explaining our services and how we can assist with their recruitment needs.

We are looking for someone with strong communication and organisational skills and plenty of drive. Attention to detail is a must along with the ability to work at a fast pace whilst maintaining high standards.
Some experience in a sales environment would be advantageous, alongside knowledge of different social media and networking tools such as LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook.
In order to be successful you will need to be confident, organised, hardworking and able to work well in a team.
