Internal Communications & Community Liaison Officer

Our client is currently recruiting a temporary experienced Internal Communications professional to join the team at Heysham Powerstation on a 6 month contract. The successful candidate will help lead their internal communications strategy, employee engagement and community liaison across the station and into the local community working closely with their Visitors Centre.

As the successful candidate you will be required to drive the stations internal communications strategy and shape the strategic communications agenda and plan using innovative communication solutions.

You will support the delivery and embedding of communications change initiatives, effectively implementing company values and provide sound communications advice and expertise to deliver guidance to managers, teams, project groups and employees

We are looking for a team player who is self-motivated and can work independently. You will have proven experience across the full range of communications media including communications planning, project management, analysis and review of message platforms and stakeholder management. Demonstrable journalistic writing experience and expertise in a variety of media.
