  • Additionally all candidates must be fully conversant with all aspects of 3 phase and single phase motor controls, inverter speed controls, overhead cranes and have good technical fault finding attributes.
  • A working knowledge of PLC's is essential, with experience of instrumentation for process flow, level, pressure and temperature measurements & controls an advantage.
  • Working knowledge of gas burner control systems, safety devices, burner ignition sequence and burner set up would be an additional advantage.

Keys Skills and Knowledge

  • Responsible for attending to breakdowns throughout the shift, and ensuring plant is down for the least time possible.
  • Responsible to ensuring all PMs allocated are done and followed up with any feedback to the engineering planner.
  • Responsible for ensuring the correct escalation process is followed in the event of an out of hours problem occurring.
  • Responsible for following up problems and developing solutions in cooperation with the Lead Engineer.
