Our client AkzoNobel are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative to join their team based in Leicester.

AkzoNobel are a leading global paints and Coatings Company and a major producer of speciality chemicals, with leading market positions and brands in countries around the world. They operate in a number of important market segments ranging from buildings and infrastructure to transport, industrial and consumer goods.

As a Warehouse Operative you will accurately pick, pack, take receipt and put away materials in line with procedures and daily demands as asked by Warehouse Team Leader. You will check incoming goods against paperwork and ensure goods are put away in correct location. You will also record stock on the system and perform any stock enquires. Additionally you will liaise on a daily basis with transport suppliers for bookings and carry out daily checks on the warehouse equipment and report status.

The ideal candidate will be physically fit and have a good knowledge of warehouse procedures. You will be committed, a team player and work under own initiative.
