Job Summary

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a trainee technician to work for a well- known windscreen replacement specialist based in the Harlow area.

The business has been established for decades and has become one of leading competitors in their industry. Due to continued growth at this site the business has a need to recruit for trainee technicians to join their business

The job role

As a trainee technician you will work in pairs on a field service around the Harlow area. Removing wipers and scuttle (not the trims), prepare the new glass for fitting, once glass is in place refit wipers and scuttle. Clean glass and interact with the customer to assess the damage.

The skills

This role is physically demanding and will be working outdoors so please be aware this before applying. Training will be provided and as you will be working within pairs of two hence the responsibilities will be shared.

You must have steady hands for the work and a good customer service manner. Your mechanical skills will be tested but as stated before training will be provided for those uninitiated with handling glass.

You must provide right to work in the UK, Proof of Address , ideally a UK Driver's license;

Long term Contract position, starting ASAP

Salary: £9.23 p/h

Shifts: 7am-3pm, this could vary hence you must be flexible in working hours.

5 day working week

Potential for 47.5 hours a week

Initial 12 week assignment

Location: Harlow, Essex.
