Multi-Trade Maintenance Craftsman Temp to Perm
Manpower is delighted to be working with our client to find a Multi-Trade Maintenance Craftsman to work within Exeter. The business is located just outside of the city centre and easy to access via the public transport, on foot or via park and ride. This dedicated team take responsibility for all the onsite laundry machines and making sure they are installed, maintained and repaired quickly and effectively. This is a fast paced role where you will be working on multiple machines to carry out general and planned maintenance work. This role is working Monday to Friday only on an 8 hour shift basis.
About the role
Your main responsibilities for the role of Multi-Trade Maintenance Craftsman will be to install, maintain and repair all electrical, mechanical services and plan equipment as well as carryout planned preventative maintenance. You will be working with a range of laundry equipment including domestic hot water and heating services. As the post holder you will be responsible for all maintenance issues regarding the laundry service while on shift.
About the candidate
As the Multi-Trade Maintenance Craftsman you will be qualified to an NVQ level 3 standard and have an up to date gas safety registration / certification, you will be experienced in working with automated production machinery controls and circuits and able to diagnose faults on electro pneumatic / hydraulic equipment. You will ideally have had previous experience within a laundry environment however this is not essential if you are a multi-skilled and experienced tradesman. The ideal candidate will be able to start fairly quickly however our client is willing to wait for the right candidate for this ongoing opportunity.
