Vehicle Technician

We are looking for a fully qualified Vehicle Technician with mechanical experience in a workshop environment.

Candidates from a private garage are welcome

Salary negotiable depending on experience but you can expect a highly competitive basic salary in addition to workshop bonuses, along with the opportunity to progress your career as a Technician in a modern franchise workshop.

What you will be doing

The successful candidates will carry-out routine maintenance and repairs to a range of customer vehicles to an excellent standard, using a first time fix approach to achieve customer satisfaction, in addition to warranty work under manufacture guidelines.

You will diagnose vehicle problems using technical equipment and diagnostic tools, determine how long service or repair will take and conduct routine mechanical service on a range of vehicles.

Some of your job duties will include general servicing, MOT prep, fitting or replacing parts and vehicle diagnostics, also liaising with the Service team and Manager on job progress.

What you will need

Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent) is required. Alongside this, you'll have previous work experience in a vehicle workshop environment as a mechanic plus a full, clean driving license.
