An excellent opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global FMCG organisation, our client are currently looking for a Marketing Intern, based at TIGI's International Office in Battersea, London (SW11 4NP) This is a 6 month role to start ASAP, paying between £20,000 per annum pro rata depending on experience.

TIGI has been around for 16 years and is associated with cult stand out hair and fashion; it is a brand that emulates style and intrigue within professional hair. Started by Anthony Mascolo, the entrepreneurial creative mastermind who took his talent and passion for hair to create a brand that is adored by the hair dressing world, he created products the industry wanted are now some of the top styling products in the UK, the most widely known being Bed Head.

As mentioned above, TIGI is known for trend setting hair and creative inspiration with a deep fashion flair - we have some of the most exciting content in video and photographic format that we have created collection books that are widely sought out, so much so Anthony has created his own book Infringe. Our budget in WEU is dedicated to digital (paid, owned, earned) with strong social, trade advertising, and PR.

You need to have a passion beauty and personal care, and ideally for hair and fashion to enjoy working on TIGI. We want your creativity and energy to collaborate in driving brand equity and deliver brilliant customer and consumer/client activities and experience, All of our activities will ultimately delivering strong growth for the business in professional segment.

This role is hands on and requires great project management skills, high bias for action, ability to juggle tasks and prioritise, manage ambiguity, be resilient, and collaborate with the team and share ideas on campaign and marketing activity development. We have fun in our team and work closely together and so having an energy and good social skills in important.

Key Responsibilities/ Tasks:

  • Producing market research to support gap analysis innovation plan
  • Support Copyright team to develop product and concept recommendation for innovation portfolio
  • Developing pack artwork liaising with Design team: development of design and production approval coordination
  • Production of master text
  • Creation of the education materials related to innovation
  • Produce pricing analysis
  • General administration i.e. raising POs and budget management
  • Asset development for any innovation: concept brief to final design and roll out to markets
  • Working with translation agency for local packs
  • Post launch performance analysis report, supporting Global team with collating content inc analysis
  • Must have good English and a second language would be a big plus.
  • Business acumen and marketing is key to this role, sales experience would help.
