An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a world leading global organisation. Our client, a blue chip IT company, is currently seeking an Assistant to the Executive Assistant / Executive Assistant to the Managing Director based on our client site in central London (EC2V). This is a full-time, temporary role for a period of 3 months, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week, to start ASAP. The role is paying between £25,000 and £31,600 per annum, pro rata, depending on experience.

You will be expected to act as an Ambassador for the Managing Director's office at all times. Confidentiality is key, as is the will to do a great job.

Role description

You will be required to undertake (but not be restricted to) the following activities as part of the role:

  • Assisting with event management / senior corporate hospitality.
  • Responsible for domestic and International travel bookings.
  • Expense management for MD.
  • Quick and efficient approval management on all internal systems.
  • Coordinating documents for MD's signature; ensuring these have been agreed with Legal / HR / Finance / Direct Reports before MD signs.
  • Help to keep MD on track with meetings throughout the day.
  • Registering visitors and assisting with room bookings / hospitality accordingly.
  • Printing requests for MD.

Skills and experience

  • Looking for a middle level assistant - not too junior and not too senior
  • Previous experience supporting executives
  • Need to be able to hit the ground running as you will be assisting the Executive Assistant to the MD and also covering for them when they are on holiday
  • High attention to detail

  • Ability to plan, organise and prioritise your workload with minimal guidance
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective communicator at all levels
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office packages
