Buyer (Inventory)

This leading International supplier of manufacturing materials and components require a Buyer to support its European purchasing team based in Bracknell, Berkshire.

The purchasing Team manages over £200m of purchases annually with over 12 material stock locations throughout Europe. Your remit covers purchasing and inventory management of their bought-in products, from the initial purchase, stock management, and call-off procedures.

The Inventory Buyer liaises with other departments and colleagues- Sales, Operations Marketing, and Accounts and maintains contact with the company's international suppliers.

Working as part of a large Procurement team you will be responsible for driving the sourcing and delivery process, supplier risk management, and supply chain assurance to develop a robust procurement strategy for goods and services.

You will be an excellent communicator and negotiator with the ability to build and develop relationships in order for you to understand the critical importance of the details regarding stock- holding, delivery, risk and supply chain assurance.
