Sales Engineer

Here at Manpower we are working with a well established company in order to help them recruit for two technical sales engineers to start on an immediate basis. This client is a growing company who are rapidly expanding in their nice, new and modern offices in Brighton.

In order to be a successful sales engineer, you must have a number of different skills and qualities, as you will have a number of different responsibilities, which include...

• You will be responsible to research potential clients who would consider buying your products.
• You will be required to make phone calls and receive phone calls for at least three hours each day.
• Face to face visits will be essential once you start to build client relationships.
• You will be preparing and writing quotations for new and existing clients.
• You'll be liaising with your line manager to give feedback on your progress and current tasks.

However, the skills that you will need in order to be successful will be...

• You must have a proven sales ability.
• Good communication skills and listening skills are essential.
• You must have the ability to work in a target driven environment.
• You must have a knowledge of cold calling.
• You must also have a technical qualification or experience working within technical sales.

What are the benefits of this position?

• You will have a basic salary of £22K - £25K, plus a £10K bonus each year on average.
• You will have 25 days worth of holiday, which raises up to 30 days over time.
• You will have life cover for up to three times your salary.
• You'll get £75 per year to cover any dental costs that you may have.
• You get the benefit of working with a couple of office dogs each day as well.
