Plymouth - Mini Bulk Driver

Manpower is working in partnership with Calor Gas and looking for class 2 ADR Drivers to join an expanding team. This is a key customer facing role essential to providing high quality service.

In this role you will ensure that all Calor customers receive deliveries of product in an effective, efficient, safe and professional manner in with operational business plans. To operate to acceptable customer service standards and within the law at all times.

The ideal candidate will possess a positive, responsible attitude and be able to work as part of a team. You will also be reliable, have strong safety awareness, and be able to work using a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Good numeric and communication skills are also required, as is the ability to follow verbal instructions.

You should be fit and available to drive all company commercial vehicles with full training.

The successful candidate must hold a current LGV Class 2 (Category C) driving license, a current ADR Vocational Training Certificate- minimum in Class 2 in Tanks (though not essential as ADR training may be given to you). Demonstrate a high level of safety awareness at all times. Also, you should be fully conversant in tachographs and driver hour's legislation. You should have a flexible approach to your hours or work and be prepared to work weekends and public holidays as required to meet the needs of the business. You will be provided with full training and PPE.

Calor deliver 7 days a week, throughout the year. Your hours of work will be based on a 42.5 hours a week. However, at peak times early starts and finishes are common. Your working will be deemed up to be any 6 days in 7. However, you will be expected to work the hours necessary for the full and satisfactory completion of the tasks for which you are responsible.

If you are successful in being offered this role, you will be required to carry out pre-employment checks including: 5 year address history, 3 year employment history, and criminal record check and be medically fit to work.
