Exciting opportunity to join a successful team working within a Manufacturing company as a Junior Account Manager. The key responsibilities are to support two account managers with current and potential accounts, you will then have the opportunity to develop into managing your own accounts.
JOB PURPOSE
As a Junior Account Manager you will be responsible for a number of accounts and be a key person in charge of account budgets and administration. The job will require you to assist with providing exceptional customer service to key retail and catalogue accounts, to develop an understanding of the business requirements of the customer and manage their expectations whilst growing the account turnover.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Customer relationship management
- Process orders as required with accuracy and speed
- Maximise order book fulfilment by liaising with Supply Chain and Warehouse
- Be proactive and offer alternative products for out of stock items
- Develop good working relationships with internal departments ensuring issues are addressed in the proper manner and avoiding a "blame" culture
- Ad-hoc administrative tasks
- Maximise all sales opportunities from inbound / outbound calls
- Learn and understand the product range in order to promote new products, up-sell and cross sell
- Work to achieve agreed sales and growth targets
- Attend all training sessions in order to develop knowledge, sales techniques and skills
