Technicians' Mate

We are currently recruiting for a Technical Assistant/Technicians Mate in Exeter to assist in the repair of both commercial and residential car windscreens for a very well established and recognised nationwide company.

Your new job as a Technical Assistant would entail working as a team with a qualified technician and playing a key role with the complete replacement and fitting of new windscreens, assisting in the repairing of damaged or chipped windscreens, removing and re-fitting wiper blades and scuttles and general cleaning and maintenance. With training you will soon be able to go out on your own so you must have driving licence.

The role is based around a 5 out of 7 rota, which means you will need to be flexible to work on weekends and mirror the hours of the technician as required. So if you aren't afraid to get stuck in and get the hours under your belt, this could be the job for you.

You could expect to work around 47.5 Hours per week, dependant on workload and the start time will be around 07:00 each day.

You will receive a very competitive pay rate of £8.79, and experience is not required as full training will be provided.
