Telesales Executive (Reseller Team)

About the Company:

Our client is one of the UKs leading Telecoms distributors, specialising in Call Centre and Unified Communication headsets. As a market leader they provide products from all the leading manufacturers to companies of every size throughout the UK and Europe.

Position - Experienced Telesales Executive:

The ideal candidate will have experience selling to resellers in the IT/Telecoms industry, all though this is not essential, and must be able to negotiate business opportunities. Being self-motivated is a key aspect of the role as the right person will want to grow a large account base from the data that we provide.

It is essential that you are a highly organised individual that as well as overachieving the company targets, sets their own targets promote self-development and growth. The main methods of achieving your growth are through telephone conversations and email correspondence which will be targeted through the following KPI's, minimum of 2 hours calling time per day, 100 outbound calls, 4 new accounts per week, and profit targets.

Once an account base has been developed maintaining strong customer relationships is fundamental to the position and will be nurtured via proactive calling to the existing customer base daily.

Key Duties:

Promote & sell the company's range of products & services by contacting key personnel within the supplied customer base.

Databases will be supplied via our CRM system ACT which must be kept up to date, and staff will also be expected to source their own leads and to diary their calls & collate relevant information to update the CRM systems on each customer.

Due to the account base being supplied we expect that the candidate will immediately hit set targets and we will look for growth and development of the account base.

Training will be provided on our systems and our own products but detailed knowledge of the leading products in the headset market are expected. Further knowledge of telecommunications equipment and experience of the following software would be advantageous.

ACT by Sage, Microsoft Office and Pegasus Opera.

Package:

Basic Salary is £25k per annum and an open-ended commission scheme is available upon completion of training (around 2-4 weeks).

(OTE year 1 - £28k-33k, year 2 - £31k-39k, year 3 - £38k to £47k)

Hours of work - Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm, with 1 hour for lunch, you will be expected to do one late night on a rota basis until 6pm approximately once every two weeks after your 3 months probationary period.
