About the company

Our client, a worldwide supplier of bespoke heavy engineering solutions has recently won several new projects. As result of this growth they are looking to appoint a proposals engineer to their successful technical team.

About the role

Working out of Billingham and Reporting into the technical manager, the function of the proposals engineer is to support the technical management team in commercial endeavours from initial tender through to response

Your responsibilities as proposals engineer will b:

- Develop tender responses for review

- Create risk assessments.

- Sub contract supervision.

- Liaising with clients.

- Process mapping

About You

- Educated to HND/Degree level in a relevant engineering discipline or possess significant industry experience.

- Possess experience of the tender process and be able to product relevant proposals

- Experienced in sub-contractor management

- Comfortable using AutoCAD and Microsoft Office.

. Knowledge of cost estimating (Desirable)

- Experience with structural steel design codes (desirable)
